Story

Rockford High School This project was the centerpiece of a building program that also included renovation of the former high school, junior high school, and an elementary school. The two-story main structure has 100 classrooms, with seven computer labs, a television studio and an interactive telecommunications system. Fiber optic lines provide information to monitors in each classroom. Computers in each room can interact with the classroom monitors, the first of its kind to be used in schools. Features • 825-seat auditorium, equipped with hydraulic orchestra lift and an oversized stage for up to 300 performers • Gymnasium seats 4,000 and offers three full stations for the school’s athletic team practices. • 8-lane swimming pool features a Colorado Time System and seating for 600 spectators • Football and track stadium with seating for 5,000 • Eight tennis courts; baseball and softball diamonds
